Applications of steam or hot water boilers in exploration, in open terrain or other flexible installation options require the use of mobile plants – optionally in containers or e.g. on truck trailers. astebo is also active as a producer in this special area and offers complete solutions from design to commissioning.

In doing so, we use our extensive process engineering knowledge and experience from stationary boiler construction and design mobile astebo steam boiler systems precisely tailored to the respective application for safe and efficient operation.

Thanks to the globally standardised container formats, the optimum boiler solution can be developed for every special application. This applies not only to the boiler as the heart of the mobile plant, but also to all equipment components, such as feedwater tanks, water treatment, blowdown tanks, control and switchgear systems. Particularly important for mobile boiler plants is the infrastructure for media supply (electricity, water, compressed air, fuel, etc.) integrated in the plant, as well as the necessary facilities for the disposal of used media and substances.

Special requirements are often attached to this type of mobile boiler system. On the one hand, this concerns the robust and fail-safe design and, on the other hand, topics such as easy maintenance and media supply. All tasks in the development and construction of mobile boiler systems on trucks are carried out with special consideration of the respective road traffic regulations to avoid special permits.

Thanks to the innovative technology in the form of combined mobile boiler units, steam capacities of 3,000 or 5,000 kg/h per unit were achieved.
